Research has shown that learning outcomes are higher among kids who have access to better school infrastructure than those who do not.

Keeping this in view, we have been extremely keen in providing missing facilities and basic infrastructure to under-resourced schools. One of the first steps TEF undertook after beginning its operations was to initiate surveys in government schools to strategize and rationalize its interventions as per the needs and requirements of each individual school. Once the surveys were complete, TEF laid out a holistic development program for each individual school. The schools were provided with basic infrastructure like classrooms, furniture, and bathrooms which are directly proportional to the learning curve of students.
