Shortage of teaching and non-teaching staff members is a major problem which hinder better learning outcomes and leads to plummeting learning curve of students.

Initial school surveys, after the inception of TEF operations, showed a dismal picture, with 20 out of 85 schools having only one teacher for primary grades (1-5). The situation demanded grave measures, and therefore we hired 310 teaching and non-teaching staff members and deputed them in 79 government schools. Its leitmotif was to create better facilities for our students of remote area who are deprived of basic facilities because of inefficiency and incompetency of our education sector.
